Drop, Dip, Repeat! Adhesive Tips for Beautiful Lashes

by | Jun 21, 2018 | Lash Education, Students

One of the biggest retention killers in the lash game is using the wrong amount of adhesive. Whether it’s too much or too little, this all to common mistake is easily avoidable with proper training. Today, we’re sharing a page straight from our Industry Lash Pro Training manual on proper adhesive techniques.

To start, we recommend using just a small drop of adhesive. When we say small, we mean small. If you are using a drop the size of a penny or bigger, then it’s too much! For those of you who are more visual, refer to our photo below.

Obviously, that small drop will not be enough to get you through an entire lash application. For best results, we recommend administering a drop of adhesive every 15-20 minutes. Don’t forget to dip the extension in the center of the adhesive drop.

These are just a few tips from a small section of our course. We’ll show you tips and methods that will help maintain retention and proper lash application in our upcoming Classic Lash class this July 8-9 in Charlotte.
