Who doesn’t love a good set of volume lashes? Instagram is full of gorgeous photos full of mega volume and lash sets that must have taken hours to complete one eye alone! Unfortunately, one thing we typically don’t have as successful lash artists is time. Our schedules are booked back-to-back with client after client and it soon becomes clear that we are providing beautiful lashes for clients on the go. As nice as it would be to have 4 hour appointments with each client, it’s likely you and your clients simply don’t have that kind of time. Luckily, there’s a way to create a volumized look in less than two hours.
At iLashCharlotte, we call this a “Glamorous Set” and it’s perfect for clients who want to add a little more volume to their lashes but don’t have the time for a full volume set.This technique is really all about mixing classic & volume lashes to create the perfect look. The classic extensions will lengthen lashes while the volume fans will help add fullness resulting in full on glam!
When you plan this look, use the classic lashes to create length within your style and the volume lashes to add dimension and fullness. You’ll want to strategically plan the placement of your volume fans based on your clients eye shape. This is also a great way to transition a client from classic to volume lashes….mix in some volume fans and they’ll be hooked!
