Cancer is something we all know about.
We read the stories, understand the risks, and (hopefully) do our best to prevent the terrible disease. Statistics tell us that 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers.
There are over 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States and chances are you know someone who has been affected by the disease like our friend Pamela.
“All I could think about was my 3 boys,” Pamela Jefferies recalls during the dark time of
her diagnosis.
“I knew there was a higher power and I was raised to believe in the power of prayer and
what God could do for me,” she said.
We invited Pamela into the iLash Studio this week to get some well-deserved lashes- pink, of course! In fact, to honor Pamela and all other women fighting this fight, we’re donating a portion of all proceeds of our pink lash extensions to cancer research.
Pamela’s beautiful smile now tells a different story exactly 1 year and 4 months after her cancer discovery.
“I’ve been cancer free. My cancer was caught in the very early stages so I had no radiation or chemo”, she said.
