Lash Services: A Review Of Your Options

by | Jan 17, 2019 | Ballantyne Area

Thinking about investing in eyelash extensions? As with any beauty procedure, it’s best to arm yourself with info so you understand all of your options. A lot of clients who walk through our doors for the first time have a lot of questions about eyelash extensions in general.

“I would like lashes that work with my corporate lifestyle”…

“I’m looking for something dramatic”….

“I’m not sure if I want volume or classic lashes”….

At iLash Charlotte, getting a lash education is part of the experience. We want our clients to understand (and enjoy) the lash process. In order to do so, you have to understand your options. Here’s a good read before your consultation.

Classic Lashes

Classic sets are applied in a 1:1 ratio, 1 lash extension to 1 natural eyelash. This helps enhance your lash line while remaining beautiful yet natural. This is a great choice for first-time clients who are trying lashes for the first time.

Volume Lashes

Volume lashes are, as you might have guessed, all about adding volume to your lash line! They are applied in a 2:1 ratio meaning 2 lash extensions per 1 natural lash (2D). Russian volume sets increase can go up to 5D or more (3D = 3:1, 4D=4:1 and so on). Volume sets are great for those clients who know they want ultra
glam.

Hybrid Lashes

Hybrid sets are the best of both worlds! They’re a gorgeous mix of classic (1:1) lashes along with volume fans (3:1) that add drama in all of the right places. We recommend hybrid sets for clients thinking about making the transition from classic to volume.

Lash Serums

There are a variety of great lash serums on the market for clients who might need a little help strengthening their natural lashes. Remember, the key to great lashes starts with a healthy lash line. Effective lash serums provide moisturizers, conditions, and other agents to promote healthy lash growth. If your natural lashes are
fine, sparse or brittle, we might recommend starting with a lash serum.

Brown Lashes

Not all lash extensions have to be black! Our team can give you a natural look using brown lashes great for those with light complexions looking to add a little length in a natural way.

Lash Lift

Unlike lash extensions, lash lifts maximize the curl and volume of your natural lashes. It’s a relaxing procedure that uses a silicone rod to curl your natural lashes for amazing results! We recommend adding the lash tint to your service.
