If you’ve been thinking about getting lash extensions, we know you probably have a lot of questions. Whether you’ve already booked your appointment or are still looking for the perfect lash artist, we’re here to help every step of the way!

Before you book your first lash appointment, it’s important that you understand the lash process. Here’s a closer look at what t expect before, during, and after your lash appointment so you can know before you go…

Before

Before you show up to your first lash appointment, have an idea of what you want your extensions to look like, or what you want to avoid. Your lash artist will want to know more about your lash goals and desired look. During your consultation at iLash Charlotte, we’ll take many factors into consideration like your lifestyle, eye shape, desired look, and health of your natural lashes.

Your lash artist will come up with a plan that works for YOU! Be realistic with your desired outcome. If you want a bold look, but aren’t coming with healthy lashes to begin with, the extensions will weigh down your weakened lashes, causing even more damage.

During

The lashing process is comfortable and relaxing- some clients even fall asleep (#lashnap). An appointment with an experienced and qualified lash artist will ensure quality work and no pain! Remember, we’re adhering the lash extensions to your natural lashes, not your eyelids or skin. You should be able to relax and unwind during your appointment which will last about 2 hours for an initial full set.

After

Aftercare is essential in maintaining your lashes! Your lash artist will provide you with an aftercare guide for maximum retention. As the weeks pass, you’ll notice the lash extensions will grow way from your root naturally and begin to shed. Within about two or three weeks, you should have about 50 to 80 percent still attached. This is the ideal
time to come in for a refill.

Our team is here for you before, during, and after your lash appointment so don’t hesitate to reach out. If you’re looking for more information before your first appointment, sign up to download our guide today .
