Wouldn’t it be nice If we were surrounded by cupid and chocolates all year?
Flower bouquets, sweet cards, and romantic dinners?
It’s officially the season of love! But sometimes love fizzles out. You grow apart or lose the spark. Breakups are never fun whether they are personal or professional. We’ve all probably had our fair share of love and loss in our personal lives, but what about as lash entrepreneurs?
Have you ever had a client that just wasn’t a good fit? Always unsatisfied….complaining…just
generally an unhappy person?
As with any relationship in life, you need to manage your business relationships accordingly and sometimes breaking up is the right thing to do. Here’s how…
Remain Professional
Remember, you are a business owner running your brand. Be apologetic and honest about why
your relationship is over. Maybe they don’t properly care for their lashes then complain about having to pay for full sets. There are lots of reasons you might feel like it’s time to say goodbye- follow your instinct!
Be Firm About Your Policies
Sometimes people have reactions, irritations or just generally don’t enjoy the lashes as much as they thought they would. Remain firm about your refund policy but offer advice and suggestions so you part ways on a good note.
Stay Focused
Lash artists have to deal with customer service issues just like any other business owner. Hopefully your bad days are far and few between, but don’t let one bad experience shake you to your core. Breakups are just part of love, life, and business!
